1．Celestial Go-To System & Tracking

The telescope automatically searches for a target star and tracks it by operating the STARBOOK Type S controller. Faint objects that are hard to find with the naked eye, like nebulas and star clusters, can be found with this go-to system.

2．Dovetail (Standard) Application

The world standard, “dovetail-plate system” originally developed by Vixen makes optical tube swapping easy.(※)

3. Motor & A3 Built-In Battery + Controller Storage

Motors and the controller with its connection cables are built-in. Additionally, batteries are installed inside so you do not need to use an external outlet to operate the telescope. It is an unprecedented, stylish and compact mount. (External electrical input available)

※Optical tube with dovetail plate and weight up to 5kg. For optical tubes over 2.5kg, the counterweight is needed. The weights are provided for all the SKYPOD models except SKYPOD VMC110L.

Completion of the go-to process is informed by an audio message.

5. External Connection Terminal

Through the LAN connection terminal, the version can be upgraded to the latest version any time. (Separate cross cable is required for the connection.)

6. Use as a Standalone Unit

You can use it as a standalone unit with batteries. Also can be used as a portable.

7. Available in Six Languages

Displays in English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish are available beside Japanese.
